Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Naya ("Naya," "we," "us") for using the app and this website. By using Naya, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Naya
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). If you're under 18, you may use it only with a parent or guardian's permission.
The service
Naya lets you capture spoken or typed thoughts and brings them back to you as notifications at moments it judges useful. It is currently in early access: features may change, occasionally break, or be unavailable, and we may experiment as we improve it.
Your account
Keep your account and device secure; you're responsible for activity that happens through them. Accounts are for one person and aren't transferable.
Your content
The thoughts you capture are yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them — including sending them to our AI provider — solely to operate and provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your thoughts and we don't use them to advertise to you.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Naya for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
- Don't try to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Don't enter other people's private or sensitive information without the right to do so.
Notifications & reliability
Naya sends notifications you can control or turn off at any time. It is a best-effort timing aid, not a guaranteed reminder system. Please don't rely on it for time-critical, safety-related, medical, legal, or financial matters — use a dedicated tool for anything where a missed or mistimed notification could cause harm.
Membership & billing
Naya offers an optional auto-renewing membership ("Naya: Live Your Best Life", monthly or yearly), purchased through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple account; the membership renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your device's App Store subscription settings, or from Manage membership inside the app. Prices may change for future periods with notice; refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Availability & changes
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we may set reasonable limits on use.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naya is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in the app is professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naya and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost data, missed opportunities, or mistimed or missed notifications. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or US $50.
Termination
You can stop using Naya at any time and delete your data with Delete everything in the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or to protect the service or its users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date above, and your continued use of Naya means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, except where your local law gives you other rights.
