Privacy Policy

Naya is a personal assistant. Everything it knows, it knows because you told it, in the chat, through a photo, from your calendar, your workouts, or your runs. This page explains exactly what is collected, where it lives, and how to make it all disappear.

What we collect

• Account: your phone number, used only to sign you in with a one-time code.
• Conversations: your messages with Naya, and the things they create: meals, reminders, lists, journal entries, notes, saved links and photos.
• Health data (optional): if you connect Apple Health, Naya reads step count, active energy, and body weight, and writes back the meals and workouts you log. Health data is used only to power your own dashboard and coaching, is never used for advertising, and is never sold or shared with data brokers.
• Calendar (optional): if you connect your calendar, a rolling window of events is imported so Naya can see your week. Naya creates or changes events only when you ask it to.
• Location (optional): only while you record a run, walk, ride, or hike. The raw GPS trace is processed on your phone and deleted there; only the summary, distance, pace, splits, and a simplified route line, is stored for you. Location is never collected in the background outside an active recording.
• Usage analytics: anonymous-identifier product events (like "message sent" or "reminder created") via PostHog, used to understand what features matter. Message content is never included in analytics.
• Marketing site: our public landing page at meetnaya.com uses the Meta Pixel, so we can tell which ads actually bring people here. It runs on that one page and nowhere else, not in the app, not on this page. It sees a visit and a click on “open naya”. It never sees your account, your messages, or any health, calendar or location data, because none of that exists on the page it runs on.

Where it lives

• Your data is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, scoped so only your signed-in account can read it.
• To generate replies, your conversation (and any photo you attach) is processed by OpenAI's API. Naya's provider agreements do not permit training on this data.
• Photos you attach are stored in a private bucket only your account can access.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data, to anyone, for anything.
• We do not show ads inside Naya, and we never share anything from your account, messages, health, calendar, location, with an advertiser. The Meta Pixel described above runs only on the public marketing page, which none of your data ever reaches.
• We do not read your health, calendar, or location data for any purpose other than showing it back to you and coaching you.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete account permanently erases your account and everything associated with it: messages, logs, photos, health mirror, routes, all of it. This is immediate and irreversible. You can also email help@meetnaya.com and we'll do it for you.
